Welcome to Woodland Day Nursery 

Woodland Day Nursery is an Outstanding setting located in Pokesdown. We are open 51 weeks of the year and operate 8:00am-5:15pm. Woodland is a dedicated day nursery for children aged 2-5 years.
Rated Outstanding by Ofsted in May 2024.

We strongly believe that every child is born to be naturally curious and it’s our role to inspire their curiosity and interests to instill a passion for learning which is integral to developing their skills for life. We have high expectations of all the children and empower and support them to reach their full potential. We provide a safe and stimulating environment which promotes exploration, critical thinking, discovery as well as challenge and imagination.

Our dedicated team are passionate in their role to teach and care for our woodlanders to create a stimulating learning environment, where they can experience joy everyday, through fun and engaging activities which build their independence and thirst for learning.
